Jake has been around the water most his life. Moved around a good amount until finally settling in FL in 2014. Started working on boats at 18 as a mechanic. Relocated back to Central Florida in 2005 after Hurricane Wilma and have been doing marine electrical repair ever since. Jake is N2K and Advanced MEI certified, as well as certifications for all the major marine electronics companies like Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, KVH and much more.  In his 18 years of electrical experience, he has mastered the ability to troubleshoot almost any electrical issue a boat can encounter.

After starting Billfish Marine Electronics in 2019 he has strived to provide the best customer experience while providing a top-notch service in the marine industry.  He works to continue that path by keeping up to date and growing with the ever changing marine electrical industry. In his spare time he loves spending time having fun and watching his family grow with the occasional day out on the water.
